A 3DMC technician will visit your site to carry out the digital scanning.  The amount of time required will depend on the size and complexity of your requirements.

Once the digital scanning is completed we upload the data to the cloud site where it is processed and stitched together.  This process is usually completed within 24 hours of the digital capture.

Once the digital scan has been processed, you will be sent two links to the content.

1. A direct link to the digital scan allowing you to view any detail captured.  You can also use this link to easily share your digital scan with customers, colleagues and across all social media channels.
2. An Embed code allowing you to easily add your digital scan into your website.  It is as easy as adding a Youtube video to your site.

 Once we have completed and produced your digital twin there are a number of post production options including:-

Adding information points within the content highlighting key features

Link-outs to other content such as videos, instruction manuals or a website.

Production of 4K photos of any aspect within the digital twin

Promotional videos and show reels

Creation of Schematic floor plans accurate to within 1%

Embed your digital twin onto Google street view

All models have a specific ID that is in their URL, making each URL unique.

Models are by default not referenced. Meaning that if you share a model, only the person with the link can access it. 

You can if you want embed a model on a private website.

Share your space with specific people, for example sharing with your banker, designer, or contractor with password protected sharing. 

You can now protect a sharable space with a password. People with access will be able to view but not amend the digital scan.  To add this option please speak to one of the team at 3Dmapping Company.

It varies due to size and complexity, but to give a rule of thumb to scan a standard four bedroom house takes 2 – 2.5 hours. 

All of the infrastructure is hosted by Amazon Web Services. They employ state of the art security measures to ensure the physical hosts remain secure. Visit aws.amazon.com/security to learn more.

All content is hosted in the cloud.  This ensures the digital content operates at peak performance, and ensures the content is easy to share and embed on your digital assets.

The file size would also be so large that it would cause page download issues on your website.  

With hosting you can host as many models as you wish without causing any site issues.
