Point cloud, CAD and BIM data
A scan is not only a picture of a building. It is a set of measured points describing every surface we captured, and that data can be handed straight to the people who design, refurbish and maintain the place.
What we supply
- Point cloud — the raw measured data, for use in CAD and survey software
- OBJ mesh — a 3D model of the space
- Point cloud to BIM — the scan converted into a modelled building, ready for Revit and similar packages
We can supply the data on its own, or alongside the virtual tour and floor plans from the same visit.

Who uses it
Architects and designers working on a refurbishment or change of use, who would otherwise commission a measured survey before they can draw anything.

Why it is worth doing early
Most building projects start with drawings that no longer match the building. Walls have moved, services have been rerouted, extensions have been added and never recorded. The discrepancy usually turns up on site, when fixing it is expensive.
A scan taken before design work starts gives everyone a single accurate record of the building as it stands today, and it takes one visit.
